I'm definitely not born from rich family. This is why my mom taught us, her children, to be cautious about spending money. In my experience during my childhood, she basically won't buy something I WANT if I don't have a money which is half the price of the object I want. You see, as a child, I ask myself "How will I earn money?" Another thing about being poor is that my parents earnings is enough to survive and spend a little for education. Not so tough though. So, whenever my mom knew that we (her children) have savings she will not give us our daily allowance. Haha
During that time, I am totally devastated. How can I buy the things that I want, if she knew I have my little savings? Then, there goes my little journey of not telling anyone of my errands for other people to earn some small amount. Little by little when I learn how to earn a LITTLE I realized that it must be hard for my parents to gain money and to provide for the family. From then on I literally grew the habit of saving even a centavo little by little. Somebody said that a million can never be whole without a single centavo.
Never say your earnings is not enough for you to not save. IT'S NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU EARN, IT'S HOW MUCH YOU SAVE.
